Outer Island Masks

Hand carved masks mostly made from local mahogany. Some encrusted with mother of pearl and old Chinese trading coins, others hand painted and silk screened with wonderful tribal motifs.

A fabulous collection of masks decorated with amazing designs and colours using a dot technique borrowed from the Aborigines. Most of these masks are available in 2 qualities. One using hard wood mahogany and hand carved in Lombok, the second quality (with C after code) using local softwoods and carved in Bali. Both qualities are decorated by our same group of artists here in Bali.
