Outer Islands Bowls

A wonderful collection of bowls and platters all hand carved and decorated. Put fruit in them, or use them as a centre piece for a table, they look stunning.

Some have inserts of mother of pearl, others are combinations of wood then woven with local vines to give a lovely and very different effect. The form of weaving used on many of these bowls is the same as that used on the special mats from certain regions of Borneo.
